Braddock Landing is a small, single family, residential community located in Chesapeake, VA. We are located approximately 13 miles west of Norfolk International Airport and 30 miles west of the oceanfront in Virginia Beach.
Braddock Landing consists of 54 homes and is bordered by Bruce Road on the south, conservation areas on the east and north, and conservation areas and a small city park to the west. The homes in the community were built by Centex Homes.
Children in the community attend Western Branch Primary School, Western Branch Middle School, and Western Branch High School.
The first homes in Braddock Landing were constructed in 2005 with the last homes built in 2008. In 2006, the first election was held, giving the Homeowners control of the Association. Since then, the Board of Directors has worked hard to create a pleasant and beautiful community.
The Braddock Landing HOA is managed by a volunteer group of homeowners from within the community who are elected to serve on the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is assisted in their administration of the Association by a contracted HOA management company.
The area surrounding Braddock Landing contains a mix of retail, entertainment, and housing. Some of the businesses in the area include two Wal-Marts, Target, Lowe's Home Improvement, Home Depot, Applebee's Bar and Grill, Starbucks, Dick's, Sam’s Club, Kohl’s, BJ's, Chili's, Outback, Olive Garden, and Red Lobster, to name just a few. The Chesapeake Square Mall is only 2.5 miles away from the neighborhood via Taylor Road and houses various stores. Local grocery stores include Food Lion, Lidl, Aldi, Kroger, and Harris Teeter.
Nearby amenities include a bowling alley, YMCA, small city park with playground equipment, larger park with several amenities, biking and walking trail, and two cinemas.
